The bike's ready to roll, the doctor administered CPR and I'll pick it up later today. Can't wait. But get this. It's summer time which means family and friends flock to the valley. So last night the folks and I are going to the North Conway free Pops concert at Cranmore. I've got foldable lawn chairs, one in each hand. Who rolls up on mountain bikes? Frontline 24/7 soldiers and teammates Krissy and Hannes. Timing is everything. Mom snaps a picture. Then I figured it was a great time to tell the folks about the race. Guess what? Now I've got to "be careful."

Actually, have fun! The race is such a blast you'll be hooked! Wish I could be there to ride but I can't, so good luck to you Marty, and to everyone racing this year.

And this morning Krissy and Hannes are out trying to figure out the 24 Hour course here at Great Glen - such troopers. I'm jealous, we had such fun putting together GGT teams in the early years before it got big enough that we all end up working it instead of racing. Just watch out for the first bridge after the big climb.

Marty, We have 19 teams going to glen this year, how would you like to do a lap with us? I am doing it solo on a single speed and would be glad to have the company for a lap or two.

Dave, would enjoy catching up with you and riding a lap. Even better would be chowing down at that Land shark/Mudshark restaurant you guys set up annually. Nineteen teams! Littleton rocks, and rolls. PJ, I'm told the course is the same as last year. Might ride it this weekend.

Hey, PJ - the course will be exactly like last year (at least at this point but I don't think it will change). There will be a couple of new bridges over some mud, a rebuilt one at the bottom of the snake out in back of the barn, and an improved "Sven's Chase" that was so muddy and rocky last year. Have a great ride!

Thanks for the info. Svens Chase? I don't remember any mud last year. Its all good. We mustered a couple of solos and two 4 man teams. See you in a week. Cheers. PJ
